This  is  a  plat inum  model  of  a  hand - w inding  chron ograph  launched  in  2017.

Pat ek  Philippe   ' s  first  fully - o wn ed  hand - w inding  chron ograph  movement ,  the  CH 29  -  53 5 PS ,  which  had  previous ly  been  equip ped  with  a  chron ograph  movement  made  by  the  Rom anian  company ,  is  the  high light .
It  was  first  introduced  in  the  5 17 0  series  in  2010  and  is  the  core  movement  used  in  the  current  model .
This  classic  chron ograph  mechan ism  uses  a  col umn  wheel  and  a  horizontal  c lut ch ,  and  is  further  speci fied  as  Dyn am omet ric  Lu iz .
When  the  inc ense  box  is  completely  rol led  up ,  it  is  un conne cted  from  the  r yu z ,  so  it  is  a  safety  speci fication  that  does  not  cause  a  Zen mai  break  due  to  over - w inding  by  hand .

The  dial  is  a  blue - bla ck  dial  with  a  beautiful  gradi ent  from  blue  to  close  to  black  towards  the  ed ge .
